Back to the boat.

The gang decided to go out into town at 2330 last night but were very quiet when they came back in at 0330. Some of them were up fairly early too. The morning was spent providing bacon sandwiches and tidying up ready to leave. We also loaded up the car and seemed to have more stuff to take back compared with what we brought home. In the end we left at the same time that the visitors left so Amy was able to travel with us. It didn't take too long to get back to Droylsden and put the kettle on. It wasn't long before Bash, our son arrived from his friends. He was going to drive the car back home. I love it when a plan comes together.

Family tea and cakes aboard 'Holderness'.

We emptied all the stuff out of the car and then Bash was soon off back home. It will be about three weeks before we see him again I expect.

Farewells with the boat in the background.

I have made room in my wardrobe for Amy's stuff so that we don't have bags all over. She has decided that she will sleep on an airbed on the floor that will pick up and stow in the bedroom during the day. It means there is less having to shuffle stuff around to make up the pullman dinette. We all seem tired so we will be in bed as soon as the girls have watched 'Strictly'.

I promise that this will be the last photograph of the chimney bung but I had to show that it fits. I may give it a final coat of paint to match the boat so that it blends in a little better.
